Ingredients
  • 2 (12 ounces) New York strip or ribeye steaks
  • Cajun seasoning to taste
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • 8-10 Extra large shrimp-peeled and deveined
  • It’s best to leave steaks out 30 minutes at room temperature before cooking.
  • For the sauce
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Cloves garlic-chopped
  • ½ Cup heavy cream
  • ¼ Cup chicken broth
  • 1 Tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ Tbsp cajun seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp parmesan cheese-grated
  • 1 Tbsp fresh parsley-chopped plus extra for garnish
  • ½ Tbsp lemon juice
  • Add more chicken broth if the sauce is too thick and adjust the taste to your liking.
  • Mixed vegetables for side
  • ½ Zucchini-sliced
  • ½ Red bell pepper-sliced
  • ½ Cup broccoli florets-chopped
  • ¼ Cup chicken broth
  • 1 Tsp olive oil
  • Lemon pepper to taste
  • Use any vegetables you like.
