Restaurant-Style Sticky Orange Ribs at Home Chinese Braised Prime / Spaew Ribs Recipe
Sticky orange ribs are a perfect homemade dish for the summer. The ribs are braised in savoury ingredients with bright citrus notes. They have a sweet and sour flavour, comparable to sweet and sour spare ribs, but the fruity sweetness and sourness are not as intense; there is only a subtle fruity acidity and sweetness. Using orange juice to make the rib sauce gives it a natural colour and delicious nutrition, and the tangy taste of oranges stimulates the appetite, relieves greasiness, and promotes digestion. The ribs are nice and tender from the braising process, and then the sauce is reduced to give the ribs a beautiful sweet and sour glaze. This recipe is very simple and lets you make a restaurant-like dish for your lunch or dinner. Happy cooking!
