A Simple Hainanese Chicken With Ginger Sauce Recipe
A Singaporean staple of moist chicken, aromatic rice, and tender bok choy, finished with chile garlic sauce and kecap manis.

Ingredients
  • 1pc Whole Chicken
  • 4slice of Ginger
  • 1pc Leeks
  • To taste Salt
  • GINGER SAUCE:
  • 150g Ginger
  • 3cloves Garlic
  • about ¼cup of Olive Oil or Peanut Oil
  • A little bit of Sesame Oil
  • To taste Salt and Pepper
  • Thinly Slice leeks
  • Hoisin Sauce
  • Sriracha Sauce
Notes
*It is important to rinse it with cold water to prevent overcooked, and to keep the chicken skin springly.
*After cooking pat dry the chicken with paper towel, and brush it with sesame oil. To prevent from drying.
*Air dry the chicken for atleast 30 minutes before cutting. To keep the moisture inside.
